The new NPRM-gui python script is online. It’s an experimantal Version! (not fully tested yet). USB-Connection should be automatically detected in this version. Still no support for telnet connections in the script.

Update (2020-01-03):

I’m working on the GUI for the latest firmware version 2019_10_20 with the new feature of autodetection for the USB connection.

Sofern die GUI relativ stabil läuft ist auch ein Download als Windows EXE-Datei und Linux BIN-Datei geplant. Beides wird dann mit Hilfe von pyinstaller erstellt.

Wie oben beschrieben … ist es eine kleine grafische Benutzeroberfläche für das New Packet Radio Modem von F4HDK (-> https://hackaday.io/project/164092-npr-new-packet-radio) aus Frankreich.

Zu Beginn des Projekts “NPRM-gui” sollen die wichtigsten Funktionen des Modems abgedeckt werden. Mann kann alle (für Modems im “normal” Modus) wichtigen Parameter in ein Formular eingeben und mit einem Klick an das Modem senden. Das Programm ist noch nicht perfekt und sollte mit Vorsicht verwendet werden. Ich übernehme keine Haftung für jegliche Schäden.

Like the description above … it is a little graphical user interface for the New Packet Radio Modem from F4HDK (-> https://hackaday.io/project/164092-npr-new-packet-radio) from France.

At the beginning of the project “NPRM-gui” the main functions of the modem should be covered with the GUI. You can enter all parameters (for modems in “normal” mode) into a form and send them to the modem with a click. The program is not perfect yet and should be used with care. I assume no liability for any damage.

System Requirements: Python 3 (https://www.python.org/) with Tk and pyserial
